  Incredible Time!

We had an absolutely incredible time at this house! The property was perfect for our bachelor party—spacious, comfortable, well-maintained, and had everything we needed! Even with 13 grown adult men, we never had an issue with any space. The downstairs was the best part with all the games, the bar, and the quick access to the fire pit outside. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Lisa and Lance helped us book everything from breakfast, to a pig roast, to paintballing. They were always in constant communication and were always looking out to make sure we were having the best experience. We truly had the best time here, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect spot for a getaway! I am recommending this cabin to everyone I know that is looking for a great spot to celebrate!

Beautiful House!

Lance and Lisa are great hosts and their houses are beautiful. Valhalla has lots of room indoors with a great outdoor area. Close to town but feels out of the way.

Large Family Reunion

This is a great house for a large family reunion. The house is spacious and well appointed. Parking is ample if you have more than a few cars. The best feature -- the owners, Lisa & Lance, are tremendously helpful and timely with their communications. They even provided us with tips and hyperlinks for restaurants, catering, linens, and varied outdoor activities (golf, kayaking, fishing, biking, etc.)

Best Place we've Rented!

Lance & Lisa were great hosts. Very responsive and friendly. The place was perfect for our family with kids and adults. Highly recommend for those who’s looking for a big place to stay. Incredible Experience

  Had a great stay here. Lisa & Lance our hosts were incredible, I had a huge party and this place just did it. I actually rented two locations (this and the cabin next door), however we had the party here. We had about 60 people for a birthday party. Lisa was extra accommodating. I had also ordered a custom cake that she recommended her caterer. She also assisting in booking 59 rafting tickets which took a couple of times to add on. Lisa really provided lots of information and gave me the answers that I needed. Really must have spoken to her like 100 times. Super helpful! Place was very clean and really nice setup. It was very quiet and loved the surroundings. Will for sure what to come back.

Annual Reunion  

Great venue for a large group. We held our annual Naval Academy Company reunion at Valhalla. Lots of cooking and eating space with two refrigerators. Lance and Lisa were extremely helpful before during and after the event. Very reasonably priced for what the cabin offers. We are having our reunion next year at Valhalla again.

Straight Fire!  

This cabin in the Poconos was straight fire! The place was massive and decked out with everything we needed—perfect for a crew looking to kick back and party. The views were sick, and the vibe was just right. Lance and Lisa, the hosts, were absolute legends. We had a hiccup with our white water rafting plans, and they actually got us half our money back. Can’t beat that kind of hospitality. If you’re looking to chill or throw down in the Poconos, definitely hit up this spot. You won’t regret it!

What a weekend!

Lance & Lisa made planning a 22 person bachelor party a breeze. Everything went off without a hitch and we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend!
The Valhalla cabin was beautiful and comfortably fit all 22 of us with each of us getting our own place to sleep. The bar and game room downstairs kept us entertained all weekend too.
In terms of event planning, Lance & Lisa handled everything once I told them the days & times we needed for which events. The only thing I had to book on my end was transportation to and from the casino for us (which they had links to all the vendors on their website).
We had chefs at the cabin cooking the majority of our meals, a bartender from a local distillery making us craft cocktails one day, a party bus to and from the casino, paintball Saturday, and a pig roast delivered to the cabin. The cabin + all of this on top of our snacks and alcohol for the weekend came out to less than $1000 per person.
The value was incredible and I couldn’t have asked for an easier and more stress free process of planning it all out. I will absolutely be recommending to everyone I know that’s planning a Poconos bachelor party.

Would 100% Stay Here Again!

We truly enjoyed our stay. We were 16 guys for a bachelor party and there was more than enough room for everyone to sleep and hang out comfortably. Lance & Lisa were fantastic hosts providing extremely helpful directions and instructions. They consistently reached out to offer any assistance needed. We played golf two days at Jack Frost National (10 minutes from house). The house itself was extremely peaceful and we could not see or hear neighbors. 

I would 100% stay here again and would recommend this house to anyone staying in the Pocono's.

The Best Place!

We stayed at Valhalla for a 28 person bachelor party and this place was easily the best place we could have found. The house is gorgeous and easily spacious enough for everyone let alone the sleeping arrangements were seamless. Beds were comfortable and communication with the owners was clear concise and helpful. I would stay back at this place regardless of party size and would rent again.

Too Much Fun!

We had a great time the Valhalla cabin. It had more beds than what we knew what to do with, everything was as promised. Only complaint could be the stereo system is a little dated, but there were TVs in every room, the guys who NEEDED to watch the game got to do it and hang out still! 

The bachelor had his own massive room and the bars were a nice touch. Having our own kitchen probably saved us some cash too! great place. Only bad thing I can say, is we kinda had too much fun and didn't leave the property like we had intended to check out the local bar scene. Ours was just too good! Would love to do another event eventually.

Beautiful Cabin!  10/10!

Cannot recommend Valhalla enough! Not just for the beautiful cabin, stunning mountain scenery, and close proximity to lots of amenities, but the proprietors Lance and Lisa. They were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating to any and all of our needs. We were there with 13 guys for a bachelor party (not an easy group) and not once did we feel like we were without. We had catering (pig roast, breakfasts & more). Cabin was clean, well stocked, and had everything you would want from a Pocono getaway 10/10 would recommend.

Ski Weekend

Priceless!

Our family decided to make memories rather than exchange Christmas gifts this year. Our family of 22 (including 12 grandkids) spent the President’s Day weekend at Valhalla River Haven. The look on our grandkids faces (ages 5-17) when they entered the cabin was priceless. They were amazed at the “log cabin” design and the many mounted animals throughout the cabin. The HUGE downstairs game room was a hit. They enjoyed exploring the woods and trails and roasting marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit. We spent Saturday night snow tubing at blue mountain. The cabin was plenty big enough for our family of 22. The hosts were very accommodating and quick to reply to any questions. 

We would definitely consider staying at this cabin again.

Great Weekend!

Great weekend at Valhalla cabin! We had a large group there from Thursday evening to Sunday morning in early February for a bachelor party, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The lower level was great for cabin activities with a poker table, bar and pool table. Lisa and Lance were incredibly helpful with suggestions on what to do in the area and assistance in booking a paintball outing. Would recommend for anyone looking in the area for a reunion or bachelor party.

Best Weekend Ever!

Just had my bachelor party at the Valhalla River Haven cabin with 22 close friends and it was the best weekend ever!  We all fit and slept comfortably and the cabin itself is beautiful. It was also a perfect location for watching the NFL playoff games.  Lance & Lisa are incredible hosts and offer catering / party packages that you must take advantage. 2 out of the 3 days we never left the cabin and the one day we did, all the activities and planning was through Lance & Lisa making it even easier. If you have a large group and you're looking at this cabin, you must book it!

Fantastic Property!  

Fantastic rental property run by owners who do a great job! We had a 15-member family reunion in the Valhalla Cabin, and we had no complaints our entire stay. The property is large, clean and comfortable, with endless amenities/entertainment for you and your guests.

 We loved Valhalla! 

We spent MLK weekend here with 6 families (12 adults and 14 kids). Plenty of room and we loved the layout, especially the down stairs. Huge bar/game room which leads outside to the fire pit. We also loved being about to take the kids on hikes down on the trail. On Saturday we brought the kids to Big Boulder for tubing and it was a quick 20 minute drive.

Perfect NYE

 The Valhalla Cabin was the perfect fit for our group of 30. With all in our group we never felt that we were atop of each other as the cabin in so spacious. Upon arriving the house was in perfect condition, with holiday lights on, a comfortable temperature and all was super clean. We did most of the cooking and they have a great long table in the kitchen to place food for buffet style eating. Our group enjoyed all the games offered in the first-floor game room and especially love the huge Irish bar! There is a lot more seating than appears in the pictures. The first-floor game room had a huge couch (and tv) along with three red comfortable lounge chairs, a poker table with chairs and an additional wood table with chairs. The second floor had another long table that seated six plus another bar with additional bar stools. The couch was great with leg lounging options and around the couch there were more chairs. The fireplace was an additional bonus and made the cabin so cozy and warm. We loved the trail in the back of house that led to the river and our kids really enjoyed the big firepit with all the Adirondack chairs around it. Around the area you can buy a bunch of wood from neighbors that was so inexpensive. Lisa and Lance were very responsive to all our questions and helped with ordering our New Year Eve catering dinner. The vendor they used was great and all was delicious. They also recommended linens rental company with a discount code. This was one of our most memorable weekends, playing games, hiking, skiing, eating, drinking like kings and queens. I would highly recommend The Valhalla Cabin for any large group. We will rent again and consider renting additional cabins in proximity for more to join us.

Amazing Weekend for 30th Birthday  

I threw a surprise 30th birthday for my partner at the cabin, and it was such an amazing weekend! The hosts were not only responsive, but also helped with planning every step of the way. Their caterer was even able to make a special request birthday cake and provided a drop-off dinner. It was more than I have ever received from a vacation rental. Sure, it was expensive, but our trip was also during a holiday weekend, which added to the cost, but it was worth it!  The house was beautiful, and felt very private and safe. There is a lovely walking trail with access right behind the house. The house was great for our large group as there are many separate sleeping areas. We honestly didn't leave the house much, as there was just so much to do at the cabin. Town was a quick 4 minute drive, which was so convenient for picking up groceries and other essentials. I'd highly recommend to any large group looking for a choose-your-own-adventure experience in the Poconos :)

Great Friends Reunion  

We had a great friends reunion with our families at the "cabin". The house is huge and the basement was fabulous! We had children ages 1-6 with us and so had to do some baby proofing (spiral staircases) but otherwise it was PERFECT. We did not take advantage of any local attractions other than some short hikes but instead just hung at the house the whole time and it was great :)

Church Retreat  

We had a huge fellowship with our Church in these cabins on the river (Valhalla, River Lodge, Fat Rabbit) - everyone was so happy to disconnect from the world in these luxury-like cabins. We really enjoyed our experience and hope to return next year! We could tell much effort was made in preparing each cabin according our to it’s theme. This was awesome!

Better than Advertised!  

This house was even better than advertised. The size of the house was more than enough for our party of 22 people. And a great place for multiple families to gather and enjoy each others company both in the house, and in the area, which provides a multitude of options. The water parks, snow tubing, bowling alley, are all within half hour of the lodge. We ultimately spent most of the time in the lodge hanging around the enormous entertainment room downstairs, which had a huge bar, poker and pool table. It is definitely a place we will return to. And the host was very responsive, informative, and pleasant to deal with.

Best Family Christmas

Our Family came together after 2 years of separation due to COVID at Valhalla. This was the family gift from our mom. We had been delayed because of the COVID Lockdown (originally booked for Christmas 2021). There were 24 of us and we had plenty of room and the cabin was beautiful!! It was big but still very warm and cozy!. The rental team was amazing. We had family tee shirts shipped to them so that we would get them in time and they made sure they were in the cabin upon our arrival. They also made sure that we had information about anything we might need during our stay. They answered text messages and even checked in on us during our stay. The game room was the best!! Our adult children were able to be unplugged and spent quality time with each other. We played all of the games, which is something we had not done in ages. The living room with the fireplace was where we spent our evenings. While the open concept allowed those of us doing the cooking to still be part of the family fun. This was our first time having this kind of experience, but it will not be our last. We definitely recommend Poconos Log Cabin Rentals and specifically the Valhalla Cabin!! Thank you for helping us have a magnificent Christmas!!!

Best Thanksgiving Ever!

We stayed at the Valhalla for Thanksgiving there were18 of us and it was the best we have had. The house is better than the pictures online. The basement with the entertainment area kept the kids busy for hours we didn't even see them. The kitchen had everything we need to make our thanksgiving great. They had a new smoker outside that we used to smoke our turkey and it was amazing. Lisa and Lance were the best host to deal with. They were so accommodating and answered us whenever we needed anything. They sent us an itinerary if things to do and where to go and eat since we were not familiar with the area. We went and did the Pocono outdoor Adventure Tour that they suggested and I highly recommend that it was awesome. WE took the kids horseback riding and also one night to Kalahari that was only a half hour away from our house. The house had plenty of room for all of us plus more we had plenty of bathrooms and plenty of space it was beautiful and clean. We loved sitting by the fire at night and watching the huge TV over it. During the day we would take walks and go hiking. Right outside the house was trails we seen beautiful waterfalls and gorgeous Leigh rivers. You never really even need to leave the cabin it was so beautiful we are looking forward to returning. I would highly recommend this house to anyone especially if you have a big group. I could not have asked for a better holiday.

 I was the hero best man

Valhalla was absolutely amazing. The pictures don't do the place justice. Our first night we hung around the firepit in the secluded woods in anticipation of the weekend. Saturday day we grilled an awesome lunch enjoying adult beverages and had a hilarious evening of bar games/gambling (shuffle board, billiards, fooseball and poker tournament to finish off the night). Sunday we took a local shuttle to the casino that is only 30 minutes away with sports betting for football and table games and then returned to Valhalla for the Sunday night game and some much needed R and R. Despite a lot of things to do in the close vicinity, we really didn't need to leave the cabin once we arrived. Waiting on some confirmations from my fantasy football league to book with Lance and Lisa again for our destination draft next year. Thank you so much. Every guy there kept coming to me to say how great the place was, it almost started to get annoying. Thanks again!

Awesome! 

We stayed at Valhalla and had our wedding there. Lisa and Lance are awesome!! The house had everything you could dream of and turned out to be a perfect location for our wedding. Beautiful home and beautiful scenery. We would love to stay at Valhalla again for a family get away or reunion. Lance and Lisa are such amazing hosts! Aside from having a beautiful cozy home in the Poconos, they were on top of everything! From communicating about how to get to the property, what to do, and helping me and my groomsman for my bachelor party and my fiancé’s bachelorette they helped make it seamless and easy! Epic!

Valhalla was mind-blowing! I had 15 guys stay for a long weekend, had the groom roasted by a local comedian, fairly quick shuttle to Mohegan Sun, even shorter ride to Camelback Resort, and a mouthwatering pig roast to wrap up the weekend. Lance and Lisa were super responsive and helped every step of the way - I had people asking me if I ever thought about event planning as a career after putting this party package together - there’s no doubt I couldn’t have done any of it without Lance and Lisa’s epic cabin and connections to great service/amenities in the area.

Out of this World

This cabin was out of this world. Even the pictures on the website do not do it justice. Everyone that was going (20 people) saw the pictures ahead of time and were still blown away!   Beautiful cabin, great location and Lance & Lisa were the best to work with. I had many questions and bothered them constantly however they helped with everything and never seemed to mind my endless questioning.

Absolutely Perfect!

What can I say about the cabin we stayed in - absolutely perfect! me and a buddy did a combined Bachelor party so we were looking for something on the bigger side. we had about 20 people and after speaking with Lance & Lisa, who are incredible people and fantastic hosts, we decided on the Valhalla. so happy we did the place was amazing everything was brand new, tons of space and beds and the downstairs was a giant game room it was just was we were looking for not to mention steps away from the river. There are many things to do around town but a lot  of the times we stayed at the house cooking grilling playing games you honestly don’t even have to leave it’s like a compound. we even did a giant pig roast one night which was ridiculously good. any activity’s we had questions about Lisa and lance had the answers to and would even call for us to get us a discount and times. I would 10/10 recommend this to anyone! It’s an amazing place and I hope to go back soon.

Best Bachelor Party Location!  

I organized my brother's bachelor party and had a fantastic time. We had 18 guys and this house had PLENTY of room to spare. The basement/downstairs game room was a big hit and where we spent the majority of our time hanging out. Lance & Lisa organized rounds of golf for the group and a fun day at Skirmish Paintball. The highlight of the weekend had to be the pig roast that Lance & Lisa also helped set up. Overall I highly recommend this house and destination to anyone planning a bachelor party or big group hangout, you will not regret it.

Beautiful Cabin!

I had difficulty finding a cabin in the Poconos suitable for a bachelor party until I came across this site. I stayed in the Valhalla cabin which was great for our group of 20+ people. It rained over the weekend, and the downstairs game room came in very handy. Everyone congregated there and the room still felt spacious, overall the cabin has plenty of room for large parties. The card table and bar games were great due to the weather. The cabin overall is beautiful and in great shape. Lance and Lisa were also very helpful for suggestions on where to find things needed for our party and available for any questions we had during our stay. Firewood especially. They are also a great resource if you're looking for activates to do at the cabin, and local restaurants to eat at or order from during your stay.

I booked Valhalla for my brother’s bachelor party, and it was the perfect location for our group. We had 13 guys, and everyone had their own bed to sleep comfortably and easily could’ve accommodated more. The house is incredible - the downstairs has a huge bar and game room. And the upstairs also has a bar and good-sized kitchen for everyone to hang out and eat and drink as they please. We loved the log cabin style, and being near the river was awesome, too. We enjoyed hiking down there and relaxing for a couple hours before another night of beers and firepit.  Lance & Lisa were extremely helpful and answered all my questions before and during the trip. They helped book the catered pig roast as well as a round of golf at Mountain Laurel.  I plan on booking Valhalla for another trip in the future. The house and experience surpassed my expectations. It truly felt like we were away for a special trip rather than just booking some generic big rental. Thank you again, Lance & Lisa.

Absolutely Gorgeous!

I booked a weekend for 16 guys at Valhalla and they couldn't have made it a better experience! Amazing house!! 

The whole process was made so easy by the owners Lance and Lisa. They’re not just renting you a house, but they are also there every step to ensure you have a great trip and visit. The house is beautiful and fits the recommended size with ease. If you wanted, you don’t have to leave the house that’s how much it offers! The Bar & Game room is the Best!

We had a blast here!  We were almost 30 people ranging from 2 years to 50.  All of us enjoyed the cabin.  The bar/game room was the best!  The hike down the property was amazing.  The state park is just a 20 minutes drive away.  The best par is the hassle-free communication with Lance & Lisa.  We would love to go back again!

All you could want!

My large family and I stayed in Valhalla of Poconos Log Cabin Rentals, and we could not have been more pleased.  The communication among the owners was clear and efficient, as we had the ability to plan various activities, such as skiing/snowboarding and our very first pig roast!  In addition, the accommodations at the rental were all you could want in a getaway.  The multiple rooms allowed it to be spacious, warm, and entertaining, especially with the fireplaces and game amenities.  To top it off, however, was the sense of isolation and the nearby river.  The serenity and peace which it brought was just everything.  It was a combination of all the above which fulfilled many desires and made a memorable weekend!     Dana A  2/19 - 2/22/21  

 Absolutely Incredible!

I don't know where to start. We booked Valhalla and the pictures don't do it justice. Our group went down there for NYE weekend and we barely left the house. We spent most of our time in the basement which has the best bar I have ever seen in a home. At one point we had 6 different games going on in the basement- it was so much fun. We had 20+ people in the house and you would never be able to know it's so big. The house is nestled into the woods for the ultimate private getaway. It's so pretty that our group went on a two hour hike around the house one morning and just enjoyed the nature! Lance and Lisa were beyond awesome to work with and so accommodating. They went the extra mile to make sure our stay at the house was perfect. 

If you're looking for a place to rent in the Poconos- anytime of the year- this house is it. No question!

Amazing Thanksgiving stay

My family stayed at the brand new Valhalla cabin over the Thanksgiving weekend. What an amazing stay. The cabin was immaculate and huge. We loved the huge fireplace in the main family room, and also the outside fire pit. You can hear the running waters of the Lehigh RIver from the cabin. One of the great features of the cabin is the downstairs recreation room. Our son and his girlfriend and our daughter and her boyfriend spent the majority of the stay hanging there. It has a huge Irish Bar, a poker table, a pool table, and assorted other games. What a great party room. It is just a short walk through the woods to the Lehigh River Gorge state park walking trail. We hiked everyday down the trail, taking in the amazing views of the Lehigh River. With the hiking trail and river right outside our cabin, the fire pit, and the beautiful cabin's upstairs and downstairs living areas, plus the huge tv above the fireplace to watch the football games, we wound up never leaving the cabin. Lance and Lisa were amazing hosts, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They even had our Thanksgiving dinner catered for us, which was delicious. We will definitely be returning for another stay soon, I can't imagine a better place to stay when in the Poconos.

Golf Weekend-Phenomenal House

Has everything you could ever want for a fun weekend. Plenty of beds, unreal bar, games galore, fire pit, and the list goes on. Would 100% recommend this to any large group who have an interested in getting for a reasonable vacation. The full bar is amazing. We didn’t want to leave. Lance and Lisa were so accommodating and helpful in the process. 

We look forward to staying again.

Absolutely amazing! 

I booked the Valhalla cabin for my brothers bachelor party and it was everything + more. Lance & Lisa were so helpful along the way with booking activities to what was needed on our end for the cabin.  They helped us Book Paintball and gave us a million recommendations to have a good time out there. Cabin was super clean and was everything it was shown on online. I would defiantly recommend to anyone looking for a cabin for family or anything else

Amazing Weekend at Valhalla

We rented one of Lance and Lisa’s cabin for a bachelor party weekend for my younger brother. We had an awesome time at their amazing cabin! Valhalla is absolutely incredible and had more than enough room for our 15 person group. Between playing pool, shuffleboard, grilling and hanging by the campfire, we didn’t come close to running out of fun activities for the group. We set up a pig roast through Lance and Lisa, which was a huge hit among the group as well! Lance and Lisa were also super helpful and accommodating in getting everything planned out. I could not be happier with our experience. This was hands down the best bachelor party I’ve ever been to and could not recommend Lance and Lisa’s cabins enough! Thank you Lance and Lisa!

Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value

We had a great stay.  Valhalla was beyond big, plenty of room, and ridiculously nice. Plenty of room for all of the people that it sleeps.
If I were to ever rent with a large group again, this would no doubt be the place.
Lance & Lisa were super nice and accommodating also. We could not have asked for anything more.
