Kayak Fishing at the Walter E Francis Reservoir, White Haven

Living just 1.5 hours away (in 2005) let us run to the Poconos all the time for a quick get-away of our own. We love riding our bikes on the bike path, kayaking & fishing!
We bought our first Poconos log cabin because we wanted a place close enough to home to drive to easily. We specifically wanted a log cabin, on a river, for fishing and biking - Fat Rabbit had all we wanted and more! Several years later we built Valhalla, and we bought Waterfall Chalet too. We've been renting them out since 2012. In 2021 we moved to the Pocono area to be an easy 20-30 minutes from the cabins. We are so pleased to be able to share them all with you!

No Homeowner Association!

Our cabins are perfect for an authentic Poconos Log Cabin experience - they're secluded in the woods, on the Lehigh Gorge State Park and Lehigh RIver and 26 mile bike path (from White Haven to Jim Thorpe)

FAQ

2-Night Minimum Stay (or rate) requirement

3-night Minimum Stay (or rate) requirement for holidays on most properties

Payments: 50% due to hold your reservations

50% due 1 month in advance of your arrival

(Christmas & New Year's reservations require the 50% balance payment 60 days in advance of arrival)

Payments can be processed on our website and we accept credit cards or PayPal

Cancellation Clause -

Full refund if you cancel more than 60 days before date of arrival, less incurred credit card fees (estimate 2.5-3%)

If you cancel less than 60 days before your arrival we can reopen your dates and see if we can re-rent it to another group to replace you. If we're able to replace you (at full or partial rate) you will get a full or partial refund less a 10% resale fee. If we can't rebook it, it's still your rental.

If there is another State Mandated Stay At Home order due to the virus, then we give you 12 months to reschedule your dates and your payment stays as a credit towards your future dates. A new Cancellation Clause will not apply to new rescheduled dates...

The properties provide pillows and comforters and a fully stocked kitchen.
