It was a great weekend celebrating 2 guys from the friend group who are getting married this fall. Waterfall Chalet was an awesome spot to host a bachelor party. Perfect blend of wilderness but the bars and town are a 5 minute drive down the street. The waterfall all lit up at night and the huge deck offers tons of chill spots at night if you decide to stay in. We did a group paintball trip to Skirmish that was such a great time ! I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone ! Myself will be coming back!  9/12 – 9/15/24

Had a great stay here. Lisa & Lance our hosts were incredible, I had a huge party and this place just did it. I actually rented two locations (this and the cabin next door), however we had the party here. We had about 60 people for a birthday party. Lisa was extra accommodating. I had also ordered a custom cake that she recommended her caterer. She also assisting in booking 59 rafting tickets which took a couple of times to add on. Lisa really provided lots of information and gave me the answers that I needed. Really must have spoken to her like 100 times. Super helpful! Place was very clean and really nice setup. It was very quiet and loved the surroundings. Will for sure what to come back.  8/22 - 8/25/24

Couldn't have found a better spot to celebrate with friends! Had a wonderful time here, plenty of room for our large group. Very easy to get to being so close to the turnpike and I-80. Great access to all that the Poconos has to offer like hiking in state parks nearby White Haven. We used the well-supplied kitchen and the charcoal grill. Had a nice fire with smores too, outside around the fire pit. I would highly recommend Poconos Log Cabin Rentals to anyone and will definitely consider staying with them again.   8/9 - 8/11/24

Great venue for a large group. We held our annual Naval Academy Company reunion at Valhalla. Lots of cooking and eating space with two refrigerators. Lance and Lisa were extremely helpful before during and after the event. Very reasonably priced for what the cabin offers. We are having our reunion next year at Valhalla again. This cabin in the Poconos was straight fire! The place was massive and decked out with everything we needed—perfect for a crew looking to kick back and party. The views were sick, and the vibe was just right. Lance and Lisa, the hosts, were absolute legends. We had a hiccup with our white water rafting plans, and they actually got us half our money back. Can’t beat that kind of hospitality. If you’re looking to chill or throw down in the Poconos, definitely hit up this spot. You won’t regret it!   7/25 – 7/28/24

We had a group of 16 for a bachelor party and the property was perfect for our needs. We spent most of our time between the kitchen, living room and covered balcony in the back. It was great hearing the river in the background, we even went whitewater rafting which was almost close enough to walk to so super convenient location. Three small grass roots organizations, A New Dawn Incorporated, Roses Clubhouse, and Literacy and More all located in Philadelphia took a total of 18 staff members, parents, and youth ages 2 to 24 to the Poconos to do team building activities and to explore. Check in was a breeze with a key left in a lock box. The cabin area is private and secluded. Some people slept outside in tents and on a hammock for the ones that wanted the real camping experience. The cabin was spacious with plenty of sleep space. The master bedroom had a spa tub. We enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi. We ordered wood for the fire pit and the s’mores were a huge hit. The youth sat by the camp fire and told scary stories. The cabin was close to the river. We took trail walks and visited the river. The pantry was stocked with pots, pans, utensils, spices, condiments, and paper products. We were able to cook in the kitchen on the electric stove. The kitchen had a blender, toaster, and two coffee makers. We used the outdoor grill to cook our meats. There was plenty of space in front of the cabin for us to gather as a group and do reflections and movement. We went zip lining about 30 minutes away. The youth want to return to go white water rafting. The cabin has a pool table, puzzles, board games, cornhold, and a foosball table. There was a washer and dryer. There were two decks with a swing, rocking chairs, and eating area. A representative from the cabin was in contact with us from the beginning to the end if we needed any assistance. We had an amazing experience.  7/19 – 7/21/24

What a weekend!  Lance & Lisa made planning a 22 person bachelor party a breeze. Everything went off without a hitch and we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend!
The Valhalla cabin was beautiful and comfortably fit all 22 of us with each of us getting our own place to sleep. The bar and game room downstairs kept us entertained all weekend too.
In terms of event planning, Lance & Lisa handled everything once I told them the days & times we needed for which events. The only thing I had to book on my end was transportation to and from the casino for us (which they had links to all the vendors on their website).
We had chefs at the cabin cooking the majority of our meals, a bartender from a local distillery making us craft cocktails one day, a party bus to and from the casino, paintball Saturday, and a pig roast delivered to the cabin. The cabin + all of this on top of our snacks and alcohol for the weekend came out to less than $1000 per person.
The value was incredible and I couldn’t have asked for an easier and more stress free process of planning it all out. I will absolutely be recommending to everyone I know that’s planning a Poconos bachelor party.    7/18 – 7/21/24

We truly enjoyed our stay. We were 16 guys for a bachelor party and there was more than enough room for everyone to sleep and hang out comfortably. Lance & Lisa were fantastic hosts providing extremely helpful directions and instructions. They consistently reached out to offer any assistance needed. We played golf two days at Jack Frost National (10 minutes from house). The house itself was extremely peaceful and we could not see or hear neighbors. We spent the weekend fishing at the Francis Walter reservoir which is 6 minutes from the chalet. It was an amazing experience overall. This was the perfect place for a bachelor party. Close enough to restaurants and outside life, but large and secluded enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. Beautiful views. Love the different sections available. The space in the yard was large enough to enjoy some softball which seemed to happen everyday. Worth the stay. Worth the drive if you’re out of state. I planned a 16-person bachelor party and Fat Rabbit ended up being the absolutely perfect spot for it. We had enough space for all of us to sleep comfortably, great outdoor space for hanging out and grilling, and all the other amenities we needed. Lance and Lisa were not only helpful and responsive about things around the house, they helped us plan some great bachelor party activities, like a day of whitewater rafting. The only thing to note is that we had to rent our own linens. They made it very easy and delivered/picked up directly from the cabin, plus got a discount, but make sure to factor that into your budget. Regardless of that, I’d highly recommend Fat Rabbit if you are planning a big group trip. There’s plenty of things to do in the Poconos and this cabin was a great home base for all of that!   6/21 – 6/24/24

Just seeing the pictures of the Waterfall Chalet brings back many great memories of our vacation here!! We all had such a great time...the Cabin itself was such a treat to everyone because it was spotless, spacious, beautiful, charming and just ideal for us! Everyone walked in saying oohs and ahhs! There were seven (7) of us and so we all had ample space to do what we needed to do without bumping into each other and we were certainly happy for that! Lisa and Lance were great hosts and so patient!! We got lost getting there and she guided us there effortlessly through all of our frustration! Whatever we needed, she provided without a hint of impatience! The location of the Cabin itself was perfect because it was close to everything we needed. A friend recommended that we go to this historical restaurant called Powerhouse Eater (60 Powerhouse Rd, White Haven, PA 18661; Phone No.: (570) 443-4480) and it was even nearby!! It too was great! Our vacation was June 2024 (the 14th to be exact) and we came back home afterwards wanting to go back to the Cabin for a Birthday event. There was a pool table to keep us occupied, a fire pit outside near the grill (which we certainly used happily!) and even the Waterfall gazebo which provided coverage from flying insects, etc. and at nighttime the whole waterfall lit up in multicolored lights...it was so beautiful!!! We gotta go back soon for sure!  6/13 – 6/17/24

The house is gorgeous and easily spacious enough for everyone let alone the sleeping arrangements were seamless. Beds were comfortable and communication with the owners was clear concise and helpful. We had a great time the Valhalla cabin. It had more beds than what we knew what to do with, everything was as promised. Only complaint could be the stereo system is a little dated, but there were TVs in every room, the guys who NEEDED to watch the game got to do it and hang out still! 

The bachelor had his own massive room and the bars were a nice touch. Having our own kitchen probably saved us some cash too! great place. Only bad thing I can say, is we kinda had too much fun and didn't leave the property like we had intended to check out the local bar scene. I threw a Bachelor party for my best friend last month. Rented the Fat Rabbit and it was amazing plenty of room for the 14 people to sleep and hangout. Wasn’t the best weekend weather wise so we ended up just hanging out in the cabin and out on the deck most of the time. We got a pig roast for dinner Saturday late afternoon and a bus to the casino at night. I didn’t have to do a thing every thing was taken care of for me. Cannot recommend Valhalla enough! Not just for the beautiful cabin, stunning mountain scenery, and close proximity to lots of amenities, but the proprietors Lance and Lisa. They were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating to any and all of our needs. We were there with 13 guys for a bachelor party (not an easy group) and not once did we feel like we were without. Stayed at Valhalla this September with 16 folks in the house. The house had plenty of room with plenty of space to relax, and enjoy all the amenities. We did a golf weekend and this is centrally located between many courses as well as restaurants. The house was also secluded so you did not have to worry about being on top of neighbors with a large group. Lance and Lisa were great to work with and was always quick with a response. Lisa even greeted us when we arrived. I would recommend this home for large gatherings as it has everything required.  8/23 – 8/28/23

This is the second bachelor party weekend I booked with Lance and Lisa. This time around we stayed at their Fat Rabbit cabin. They cabin was spacious and easily fit our group of 10. The place was clean and included nice amenities such as a hot tub, table games and more. The location of the cabin was perfect for us. Secluded and private. Being close to the river is a huge plus; whether it’s listening the water roar or even walking down to the water. The best part of booking with Lance and Lisa is the extensive effort they put forth to help you with every step of planning your trip. I can’t say enough how amazing they were. They basically do everything for you. As previously stated, this was my second time booking with Lance and Lisa it damn sure will not be the last. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED   8/11 – 8/13/23

5 friends went up to a Cabin in the Poconos to fetch a pale of water...wait wrong thing. We stayed at the Waterfall Chalet and it was so beautiful there is a stream running right next to it with a small waterfall. We had gone up to relax and enjoy some scenery and they had it all. The cabin was nice with some amenities like mugs, glasses, plates, etc. It has 2 firepits and 2 fireplaces which we only used 1 of for this stay. Whether you want a relaxing time or something more action-packed, this is the place for you! Lance & Lisa made the whole process stress-free and made planning a breeze by providing many options for food and things to do. They got us tour with a local distillery which was a highlight for our whole group. Also, the food vendor they recommended provided more than enough food for a large group of hungry guys. The cabin itself was beautiful and spacious as it easily fit all 14 of us comfortably. The amenities at the cabin were great, plus it offered so many places to hang out whether it was out grilling or handing out on the balcony or deck and listening to the rushing waters. Booked the Valhalla cabin for a weekend bachelor party with 20 guys coming from the Philly and NYC areas - I couldn’t recommend it more! We had a blast all weekend with activities like whitewater rafting and paintball, but honestly some of the best times were just hanging out at the cabin. If you are looking for a legit cabin experience, Fat Rabbit is it! Lance and Lisa couldn’t have made the process any easier. We stayed in April 2023. The cabin has a ton of space! The hot tub is deep and clean. The Rec room is spacious and comfortable! The balcony and deck space is more than adequate with tremendous views. We booked the Waterfall Chalet for our friend's bachelor party. At the end of the trip, the bachelor himself used the word, "perfect" multiple times. We were looking for a great place to hang indoors and outdoors and found that and more with this location. We lucked out with weather during the days of our stay and spent lots of time outside by the creek and playing outdoor games in the yard. We especially loved the gazebo and furniture by the water. Had some meals and listened to music down there for hours. During some of the nighttime rainstorms, the cabin gave all 12 of us a spacious and comfortable space to hang out. We played pool/cards in the game room and were able to cook large meals for all 12 of us in the kitchen. This place is also conveniently located near a few solid bars, premium skiing and stores for anything you might need. Lance and Lisa were also a pleasure to work with! Very accommodating and they made themselves super available to help with planning and questions about the area! We had absolutely everything we wanted and needed with this place. This was our family’s first trip to the Pocono Mountains and we loved it! We had kids from 3 months to 10 years old, and there was something for everyone. The location of the cabin was wonderful — close to many of the attractions (Hickory State Park, Boulder Field, Shades of Death). Lisa and Lance’s cabin was gorgeous, the big decks off the back of the house provided so much space for games and hanging out. The layout of the house worked out well for us too. Each family had a bedroom and we still had plenty of room leftover (We had 12 adults and 7 kids). Lisa was great at communicating with me and was always available and friendly. Just be aware that there is not really a yard and the “walk” down to the river is quite steep even for us adults but our kids could get down there with our help. 5 Stars All The Way!   We rented our the Valhalla Cabin for a bachelor party weekend and every single person was floored by the this place. We had 20 people and not once did we feel crowded or wanted for more space. There were beds for every person and the downstairs game room was awesome. The house is the perfect spot to reconnect. Ample rooms and places to sleep, well kept home and the basement is EVERYTHING - put on the NBA finals on the TV's, played pool, beer games - your own bar scene with just your people. Before I get to the cabin I’ve got to say that Lance & Lisa were nothing short of spectacular and transparent. They were very helpful and answered all of my questions patiently and honestly.

My buddy and I reserved the cabin for my friend’s bachelor party. The cabin is located in such a beautiful and scenic place as well and the creek that’s literally steps from the cabin added to the vibes. There’s a big backyard that’s perfect for tossing the football and playing a variety of lawn games. The layout of the cabin is awesome as well. If you want to play pool and hang out in doors, you can go down to the basement and enjoy a round of pool. If you want to play poker, you can go upstairs and enjoy playing a couple hands on the beautiful dinner table they have right outside the kitchen. If you want to soak in the scenery and enjoy the outdoors, you can go out on the balcony and just immerse yourself in the surroundings. Lisa was also able to accommodate us with one of our requests on pretty short notice which shows she’s dedicated in ensuring everyone that rents from her has a good experience.

From the moment that we started reaching out to Lisa and Lance while we were inquiring about the cabin we felt very accommodated. They referred us to a number of other companies that they have worked with in the past for the bachelor party to do various activities. While we were debating which cabin to rent I spoke with Lisa and she walked me through each of the options that the cabin had. We chose the River Lodge Cabin. While we were looking online at the pictures we knew that was the right choice for the weekend. The bachelor shared with my fiancé and I his thoughts about the cabin once we surprised him with it. From the groom himself “ I loved it!! I would say everything was perfect!! It was great I would love to go back to that cabin!!! It was spacious and had room for everyone!!”. My fiancé said that the cabin was very large and very spacious. Everyone was able to have their own space and not feel like they were on top of each other. People were able to relax on one floor while another floor was doing various activities within the house. While the boys were on their bachelor party we were able to coordinate a few activities with Lisa and Lance. They helped us to organize the bourbon and cigar night for the guys. That was a big hit! Then we also coordinated a breakfast on Saturday morning that was catered to the house & someone came to cook that morning. Lisa and Lance were on top of everything. They gave us more than enough information about all the details of the cabin that the boys were fully prepared on what they needed to bring vs what the cabin already included. The boys felt that it was very private and nice to just escape the world for the weekend. Review - Quit looking and book - If you’re on the hunt for a place to host a weekend getaway, quit looking and book with this team. Lance and Lisa are amazing to work with and available at all times for the few questions we had. We stayed at Fat Rabbit for a bachelor weekend and this was perfect for it. We grilled dinner every night and had some great breakfasts - we did use a food delivery service shiped, it did arrive late but worked very well. Memorial Weekend Fun - The Waterfall Chalet was the perfect setting for our large group of friends on Memorial Day Weekend. We loved the interesting layout of the house with the many rooms to explore. The grounds around the home were beautiful. Had a bachelor party for 8 at the Waterfall Chalet.  Before our arrival the booking process was not only simple, but Lance and Lisa shared in great detail all the things that there were to do in the area, in our case hiking and the Mohegan Sun Casino.  Upon arrival the property was in outstanding shape and both the indoor and outdoor space were breathtaking, and there was even more to do than I remembered reading about!  My group mostly enjoyed the pool table downstairs, the large space in the backyard to play football and baseball, and the fire pits and hammocks both near the chalet and near the waterfall.  Next time we're in the Poconos area we'll definitely be looking to book with Lance and Lisa again.     5/14 - 5/16/21

I had difficulty finding a cabin in the Poconos suitable for a bachelor party until I came across this site. I stayed in the Valhalla cabin which was great for our group of 20+ people. It rained over the weekend, and the downstairs game room came in very handy. Everyone congregated there and the room still felt spacious, overall the cabin has plenty of room for large parties. The card table and bar games were great due to the weather. The cabin overall is beautiful and in great shape. Lance and Lisa were also very helpful for suggestions on where to find things needed for our party and available for any questions we had during our stay. Firewood especially. "I booked Valhalla for my brother’s bachelor party, and it was the perfect location for our group. We had 13 guys, and everyone had their own bed to sleep comfortably and easily could’ve accommodated more. The house is incredible - the downstairs has a huge bar and game room. And the upstairs also has a bar and good-sized kitchen for everyone to hang out and eat and drink as they please. We loved the log cabin style, and being near the river was awesome, too. We enjoyed hiking down there and relaxing for a couple hours before another night of beers and firepit.  Lance & Lisa were extremely helpful and answered all my questions before and during the trip.  River Lodge ROCKS!  The River Lodge Log Cabin was perfect for our getaway.  We had 8 guys, all in our 40's, who went to college together.  It was a great guys weekend retreat.  The house itself was spacious and provided many activities and entertainment.  The pool table was in great shape and was used all weekend.  The TV's/Direct TV were great and in perfect working condition.  The decks, grilling area, fire pit were all perfect for our needs.  The house was only a few yards up a short path from a long/wide walking/biking path that we used on Saturday to get some exercise and enjoy the beautiful scenery.  The house itself came with some items to help us on our stay including TP, garbage bags, and some basics in the pantry.  Most importantly, Lance & Lisa (the rental agents) were ALWAYS on top of everything.  They were willing to make many reservations for us and answer any questions we had no matter what day it was or what time of day it was.  They are FANTASTIC!!  Thanks so much for an amazing time at River Lodge.  We will recommend your houses to our friends and hope to come back ourselves!      4/9 - 4/11/21

Outstanding Cabin!  The Fat Rabbit is an excellent place to get away for a bachelor party. The cabin was way bigger than I expected, and it’s out in the middle of the woods with a nice view of the river. Highly recommend the comedian they provide to “roast” your friends, the guy will have you dying with laughter. Nice jacuzzi right outside in the front too! The Pig Roast was delicious also, freshly smoked. If your looking to get away with the boys for a bachelor party, this is “THE PLACE”. You can basically do whatever you want, when you want.

PLCR was very attentive and the pictures do not do justice to the house and location. The house is amazing , the way its set up is perfect. Great poker and pool table and plenty of games to play. Went with a group of 8 and there were extra beds available. Definitely enough room for a large group. PLCR was very attentive to us in a last minute trip and provided us all the information we needed. Not very far from skiing or paint balling , and close to the town of Hazelton . The cell phone service was really good so no one really used the hotspot we brought . We used the hotspot just to watch the football games with worked perfectly with the Apple TV we brought . But I promise you the house will keep you occupied enough to stay off your phone. We all loved this place and definitely recommend this house to anyone trying to get away! Family Getaway - Our family and another family originally had a trip planned to Niagra Falls during these dates, however, Covid forced us to change our plans at the last minute. After scowering the Internet for alternatve plans, we fortunately stumbled upon the Fat Rabbit and it stood out among all other cabins. Lisa and Lance were wonderful to work with and were extremely accomodating. Both families were very excited to go and neither were disappointed. We had a very relaxing and stress free vacation. The cabin was exactly how they described and they even checked in at the beginning to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved the huge deck and the hot tub was very delightful. Comfortable & Very Clean - We rented the Fat Rabbit for a Bachelor party. The cabin slept 11 of us comfortably and everything was very clean. Lisa and Lance helps us with all of our needs. We had booked the Bourbon and Cigar tasting and Pig Roast.  Both are well worth it they were both amazing. This place is a very short walk down to the river. So many areas to hang out perfect for the party we had. Will definitely be looking to rent again in the future.

There is also a really cool trail directly behind cabin. We went right after the reopen from COVID and even through all of the uncertainty Lisa and Lance worked with us to make our trip work for us. Pure Perfection - To say Lance and Lisa provided an amazing weekend is a complete understatement. They responded to me within an hour, late at night and for the next two days went above and beyond to make this weekend work for my brothers bachelor weekend. We had perfect weather to go along with a flawless cabin. Literally every part of the house - River Lodge - is pristine and perfectly laid out! The furniture and beds were extremely comfortable, game tables provided perfect down time, and the kitchen had everything We needed. The short walk down to the river is a must, it’s beautiful and the fishing we did was a blast. I promise you will never experience host’s like them, and you won’t find any other cabins like theirs. Our 2nd Visit to the River Lodge - In my first review (see below), my fiance and I stayed at the River Lodge because our wedding was cancelled. We decided to return for a second visit with our kids. We had a blast. We hiked, we went horse back riding, which was really fun at the Mount Laurel Riding Stables. We cooked hot dogs and hamburgers outside and then we built a fire and make S'mores. It was a weekend of relaxation and a lot of laughter. Lisa and Lance are very accessible and also have great suggestions on activities and places to eat. My fiance and I came up for the weekend because our wedding had been cancelled so we were looking for secluded get away.  The River Lodge is only 1.5 hours from Long Island, NY.  When we pulled in, we were amazed.  The River Lodge is beautiful with a deck in the front and a large wrap around deck in the back with a view of the River.  Lisa, one of the owners stayed in contact with us to give helpful hints on what to do and where to go for supplies, etc.  We walked on the River walk, went into town and just spent some quality time in front of the wood burning fire!  Downstairs has a pool table, a card table and a bar!  On Saturday night, we were returning from picking up food and saw fireworks.  Lisa texted me that one of neighbors set these off in honor of our wedding day, which was very special to us. We were just blown away and look so forward to coming back  with our family.  I highly recommend you visit...SOON.     3/13- 3/15/20

This Is The Spot!!!! I Will Be A Repeat Renter  - We stayed at the Fat Rabbit on 2/22/20-2/24/20. Lance & Lisa are amazing. They accommodated us knowing we were having a bachelor party. This cabin was beautiful, absolutely gorgeous. We arrived late and the hot tube was on waiting for our arrival. The sound of the river flowing while sitting on the terrace just puts your mind at ease. All the activities we wanted to do were within a short drive. We went to sunset hill shooting range and had a blast Trap shooting. We rented atvs and had a great time. We went to at the antique shop next to the shooting range.We had a bbq every night. We stayed in the River Lodge for the weekend to celebrate my fiancé’s 30th birthday. It was the perfect size for our family and friends to fit comfortably. We planned to go snow tubing since the house is close to Jack Frost / Big Boulder, but due to inclement weather everyone opted to hang out at the house since we were having such a great time anyway! The house has a poker table, pool table, and a large kitchen table perfect for board games. There is also a river near the yard that makes for a perfect hike, and an outdoor fire pit with lots of seating space. 40th Bday Get Together - I wanted to have a quick getaway for my wife's 40th bday. I invited 4 other couples to Fat Rabbit and we had an unbelievable time. From the fire pits, to the hot tub to the cozy living quarters our weekend was perfect. We hit Jack Frost on Saturday morning for some snow tubing, ate a delicious catered meal that was fully coordinated by Lance and Lisa after we selected our menu items and had a relaxing 2 day stay. Lance and Lisa were tremendous throughout the entire process. From recommendations to best places to go, their input was awesome. They were super easy to work with and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at their house. Our group of 10 has not spent much time in the Poconos but I can tell you we are all looking for dates to plan our next visit to Fat Rabbit. Christmas Vacation - My family and I stayed at the River Lodge Cabin for Christmas and it was absolutely amazing!!! There was more than enough room for all of us (8 adults 15 children). The scenery was beautiful especially at night. The cabin was decorated with lights for the holiday and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you would need to make a Christmas feast. There is a Walmart 20 minutes away just in case. We didn't do any activities as it was a holiday and we spent the time watching movies, dancing, and playing games. There was never a dull moment. I highly recommend this cabin for any and all reasons. It's just absolutely beautiful and Lance & Lisa was the biggest help and available at all times if needed. Look no further if you you want to have the best weekend in the best cabins ever! This past weekend we stayed in Fat Rabbit and it was amazing. It was right above the river (which we hiked down to explore it) and so relaxing listening to it. The deck outside was the best part because it was covered and we were able to sit out on it and play games while it rained. The basement was full of games to play and big enough for all of us to sit together comfortably. The hot tub was clean and we used it every night we were there! This is our second booking with Lisa and Lance, and we are already talking about another trip for the summer! They make the process so easy and enjoyable I will never rent a cabin from anyone else again! Highly recommend them and all their cabins for the reason that they genuinely want to see your group have a good time! Can't want to come back!!    12/13 - 12/15/19

Lance and Lisa made the planing so easy we just told them what we wanted and they had everything set up and ready to go for us. They set up paint balling , a whiskey and cigar bar and a pig roast for us.  It was so easy. I stayed at River Lodge - This was a legendary decision! Pictures do not do this place justice, the rooms are huge, the scenery is breathtaking! Everyone slept comfortably and we had 15 people with us. It was perfect for group as we were completely secluded in the woods. The decks are large enough to have parties on and sounds of the river in the background reminds you where you are. They’re two large grills and a fire pit that made for awesome outdoor bonding! We went to the local shooting range and bought the place out for cheap! There is so much to do that the only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer, but that’s our fault. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know! The guys that came want to do this every year. Well worth every penny!    10/11 - 10/13/19

There are not enough good things to say about our stay.  A weekend away in one of the most luxurious log cabins I've ever seen. Had 15 guys during the weekend with room for more. Beautiful balcony overlooking the river and so much room for activities. Went to the shooting range on Saturday (The Cabin Armory) located very close by and had an amazing time. Back to the house for some dinner then out to the local club for an even better time. I highly recommend this rental to anybody who enjoys anything and everything. Hats off to Lance & Lisa and their Fat Rabbit Cabin! It delivered a fantastic birthday weekend, as promised. Their effort was property management at its finest. From great info emails--to an easy rental process-- to next-level concierge service, we planned the perfect birthday getaway with 10 of my good friends. All these reviews are not fake. This cabin really is what they say, and  Lance & Lisa’s help is what they say.  Great to work with, good communication, and accommodating every step of the way. Fat Rabbit had enough space for 11 grown men to sleep comfortably and hang out in different areas of the house watching football, playing pool, poker, and using the kitchen non-stop. (FYI-The catering service Lisa used was extremely useful if you don't want to cook.) The outside areas are just as sweet. We had enough firewood delivered by George to keep a fire going for 4 days straight. The hot tub was in great shape and was the perfect remedy for a chilly morning. My group will be back for sure. This was a girls trip to see the Poconos and surrounding area.  So happy we picked the River Lodge as our home base! From the very first email to our checkout, Lisa and Lance were helpful, informative and always prompt in their replies. The cabin is spacious, clean and in a beautiful wooded area just above the Lehigh River. We went exploring every day and then loved cooking at the cabin in the evening. The fireplace is wonderful to sit by and the decks outside are peaceful and private. We did some fishing (thanks, Lance!), visited Jim Thorpe, hiked the Lehigh River Gorge Trail, went to Hickory Run and Nescopeck State Parks, and had drinks/snacks at Nick's Lakehouse on Lake Harmony. Also went to a fun bar called Murphy's Loft. We girls had a great time and highly recommend the River Lodge.   10/2 - 10/8/19
