Spectacular event space for a big group! Feels secluded, but not far from town. Listen to the river run from the large patios. The owners were helpful and proactive. Plenty to do indoors and out. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to a friend.

 Perfect!

We had a group of 16 for a bachelor party and the property was perfect for our needs. We spent most of our time between the kitchen, living room and covered balcony in the back. It was great hearing the river in the background, we even went whitewater rafting which was almost close enough to walk to so super convenient location. I would certainly recommend this place to stay for anyone

Amazing Experience!     

Three small grass roots organizations, A New Dawn Incorporated, Roses Clubhouse, and Literacy and More all located in Philadelphia took a total of 18 staff members, parents, and youth ages 2 to 24 to the Poconos to do team building activities and to explore. Check in was a breeze with a key left in a lock box. The cabin area is private and secluded. Some people slept outside in tents and on a hammock for the ones that wanted the real camping experience. The cabin was spacious with plenty of sleep space. The master bedroom had a spa tub. We enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi. We ordered wood for the fire pit and the s’mores were a huge hit. The youth sat by the camp fire and told scary stories. The cabin was close to the river. We took trail walks and visited the river. The pantry was stocked with pots, pans, utensils, spices, condiments, and paper products. We were able to cook in the kitchen on the electric stove. The kitchen had a blender, toaster, and two coffee makers. We used the outdoor grill to cook our meats. There was plenty of space in front of the cabin for us to gather as a group and do reflections and movement. We went zip lining about 30 minutes away. The youth want to return to go white water rafting. The cabin has a pool table, puzzles, board games, cornhold, and a foosball table. There was a washer and dryer. There were two decks with a swing, rocking chairs, and eating area. A representative from the cabin was in contact with us from the beginning to the end if we needed any assistance. We had an amazing experience.

The Perfect Spot

I planned a 16-person bachelor party and Fat Rabbit ended up being the absolutely perfect spot for it. We had enough space for all of us to sleep comfortably, great outdoor space for hanging out and grilling, and all the other amenities we needed. Lance and Lisa were not only helpful and responsive about things around the house, they helped us plan some great bachelor party activities, like a day of whitewater rafting. The only thing to note is that we had to rent our own linens. They made it very easy and delivered/picked up directly from the cabin, plus got a discount, but make sure to factor that into your budget. Regardless of that, I’d highly recommend Fat Rabbit if you are planning a big group trip. There’s plenty of things to do in the Poconos and this cabin was a great home base for all of that!

Spectacular!

The cabin was spectacular. We hosted a bachelor party of 12 and had plenty of room for everyone. Lance and Lisa are absolutely great…they helped booked our golf for the long weekend and coordinated a great pig roast for us. Would highly recommend the Fat Rabbit cabin and booking with Lance and Lisa, they help with everything to make your trip super enjoyable!! We will be booking another trip with them soon!

Amazing!

I threw a Bachelor party for my best friend last month. Rented the Fat Rabbit and it was amazing plenty of room for the 14 people to sleep and hangout. Wasn’t the best weekend weather wise so we ended up just hanging out in the cabin and out on the deck most of the time. We got a pig roast for dinner Saturday late afternoon and a bus to the casino at night. I didn’t have to do a thing every thing was taken care of for me. We are going to make this a yearly thing now we had so much fun!! Thank you So Much!!!

Beautiful & Spacious!

We stayed at Fat Rabbit River View cabin in February 2024. We had a great time! The cabin is beautiful and very spacious. The cabin is nicely decorated and has that home/rustic feel. We had 14 family and friends with plenty of room to move. Everyone really enjoyed the stay. I loved sitting out on the balcony listening to the river then going inside to a cozy fire.. Almost everything you need is there and the owners are nice very helpful.
I highly recommend Fat Rabbit.

Our Favorite Rental Experience!

The Fat Rabbit River View was by far one of our favorite houses we’ve stayed at. A house that offers enough balance for your party but still cozy enough to feel the warmth. Not only a close distance to the slopes but you have a beautiful trail in the back yard with a view of the river. Lisa was an amazing host and very responsive, she was willing to help us with whatever we needed and wanted. Can’t wait to come back next year !

Very Impressed!

Booked a last minute weekend getaway with our large family for my daughters 2nd birthday, and Lisa & Lance made it so easy and quick from the very start! I was very impressed with how responsive they were and the amount of detail provided, from cabin info, to surrounding area and food recommendations- it was a very seamless, friendly, and overall positive experience. We absolutely loved our weekend away at the fat rabbit, and it was everything I was looking for !!Since it was a short stay in the winter right before the holiday, we planned to mostly stay in and enjoy family games, lounging, cooking, etc. but I wanted the area to feel like a getaway from city life and the location was perfect. It provided the privacy but easily accessible and close to many major attractions, if time had allowed. Mostly- we loved the surroundings and being right by the river! Though we couldn't spend much time in the outdoor area, everyone commented how beautiful it was and would love to return in the summer. We enjoyed the fire pit, and our morning walk exploring the trail along the river behind the cabin. It was exactly what we all needed, enjoying fresh air and the scenery. Rooms were as described, clean and the space was comfortable, with enough room for everyone. The kids loved their time, and enjoyed our clear night of stargazing right outside, and the sound of the water. Would definitely book again, and interested in other properties as well. Will be back!

We have been coming to PA/Poconos for our annual guys' weekend for over 20 years and this was one of the best places we've stayed. Super close to White Haven and all it has to offer, plus secluded location yet cabin was roomy enough so that 12 of us had plenty of space. We made full use of the firepit, kitchen and back porch. The rec room in the basement turned out to be a surprise bonus that we turned it into a jam studio for our impromptu band. We enjoyed hiking along the Lehigh River and we even used the hot tub. Lance and Lisa were super helpful and we hope to return again next year!

This is the second weekend I booked with Lance and Lisa. This time around we stayed at their Fat Rabbit cabin. They cabin was spacious and easily fit our group of 10. The place was clean and included nice amenities such as a hot tub, table games and more. The location of the cabin was perfect for us. Secluded and private. Being close to the river is a huge plus; whether it’s listening the water roar or even walking down to the water. The best part of booking with Lance and Lisa is the extensive effort they put forth to help you with every step of planning your trip. I can’t say enough how amazing they were. They basically do everything for you. As previously stated, this was my second time booking with Lance and Lisa it damn sure will not be the last. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This is the Place!  

Whether you want a relaxing time or something more action-packed, this is the place for you! Lance & Lisa made the whole process stress-free and made planning a breeze by providing many options for food and things to do. They got us tour with a local distillery which was a highlight for our whole group. Also, the food vendor they recommended provided more than enough food for a large group of hungry guys. The cabin itself was beautiful and spacious as it easily fit all 14 of us comfortably. The amenities at the cabin were great, plus it offered so many places to hang out whether it was out grilling or handing out on the balcony or deck and listening to the rushing waters. The entire party loved the time there and the only regret was not staying longer. I definitely plan to be back!

Spacious & Comfortable

The Fat Rabbit was great! The cabin was very spacious and fit 13 grown men very comfortably. The hot tub as well as the pool table were hits. Lance and Lisa helped coordinate catering and other activities. We had a pig roast catered to the house which was a highlight. They were also able to help us with transportation, activities, linens, etc. I highly recommend reaching out to them if you need any help planning your stay.

This is IT!

If you are looking for a legit cabin experience, Fat Rabbit is it! Lance and Lisa couldn’t have made the process any easier. We stayed in April 2023. The cabin has a ton of space! The hot tub is deep and clean. The Rec room is spacious and comfortable! The balcony and deck space is more than adequate with tremendous views. Direct TV access let us watch sports and the BBQs on site let us have out own cook out! Deep and spacious refrigerator with ice maker and a mini fridge in the bar downstairs. Plenty secluded and private with only a few other cabins in the area and off the beaten path. Highly recommend staying here! Thank you for making our weekend one to remember forever.

Hello my stay at the Fat Rabbit was an great stay for our 25th wedding anniversary.  The cabin was huge, so very spacious!  The game room was awesome for the guys and the kitchen and the balcony were great. Everything you need was right there.  We utilized everything - the whole cabin.

Rented the Fat Rabbit cabin for a bachelorette weekend! super cute and cozy, exactly the vibe I was going for.. the best part was that the owners helped coordinate catering and activities for us for the weekend as well.   The only downside was that the weekend was not long enough and we did not have enough time to fully utilize the place and the surrounding areas. overall great spot for a big family or group event!

Fat Rabbit was the perfect spot for our bachelor weekend! It had everything we needed - a pool table, an open living room lounge with cable for football, 9 beds, and plenty of outdoor campfire space, and nice hiking trails nearby. My group of friends grew up together, but now we live all over the country. The weekend we spent at Fat Rabbit will be a memory for a lifetime. Amazing Time!

I went with my family to Fat Rabbit cabin. I must say at first I was a liitle scared of running into a bear LOL, but we had an amazing time. The cabin was seculuded and private so we felt we had the area all to ourselves. Lisa was my contact person and was available always to answer my questions. The location was perfect because we had areas close by to visit and explore. The kitchen was fully equipped also.

Wonderful Bachelorette Weekend

A group of 10 of us rented the Fat Rabbit cabin for a bachelorette party and we had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed to cook and make cocktails, plenty of space for all of us to be comfortable, and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and on the back porch within earshot of the river. Great Experience!

I rented the Fat Rabbit for my brothers bachelor party and it was an all around great experience. Everyone could not stop raving about how perfect the cabin was for our group. There was plenty of room for our group of 12 to sleep and the cabin itself has so much to offer. You feel super secluded like your tucked away in the mountains. The host was excellent and offered so much help with planning the weekend. Any concerns or questions we may have had about the cabin or near by experiences they had endless recommendations. It’s allowed for a relaxed weekend.

Family Vacation

This was our family’s first trip to the Pocono Mountains and we loved it! We had kids from 3 months to 10 years old, and there was something for everyone. The location of the cabin was wonderful — close to many of the attractions (Hickory State Park, Boulder Field, Shades of Death). Lisa and Lance’s cabin was gorgeous, the big decks off the back of the house provided so much space for games and hanging out. The layout of the house worked out well for us too. Each family had a bedroom and we still had plenty of room leftover (We had 12 adults and 7 kids). Lisa was great at communicating with me and was always available and friendly. Just be aware that there is not really a yard and the “walk” down to the river is quite steep even for us adults but our kids could get down there with our help. 

Again, we had a great time and would recommend the cabin to anyone!

Valhalla & Fat Rabbit

We rented two cabins (Valhalla and Fat Rabbit) for a surprise wedding, and it was wonderful! Lance and Lisa were super responsive throughout the whole process and set us up with a caterer who was very flexible with our order. The houses were both in great shape and it was a great weekend! Quit looking and book - If you’re on the hunt for a place to host a weekend getaway, quit looking and book with this team. Lance and Lisa are amazing to work with and available at all times for the few questions we had. We stayed at Fat Rabbit for a bachelor weekend and this was perfect for it. We grilled dinner every night and had some great breakfasts - we did use a food delivery service shiped, it did arrive late but worked very well. There are so many things to do in the area, golf paintball, bars, etc. Go and enjoy the views this place has to offer and the sound of the river below.

Easy 5 Stars!

Man did we have a good time at Fat Rabbit. Rented the cabin for my best friend’s bachelor party and it didn’t disappoint. We enjoyed having a fire going and soaking in the hot tub. We set up a pick roast and a whiskey tasting through Lance and Lisa and all the guys loved it. We had a ton of space for everyone and played pool late night. Easy 5 stars on this one, Lance and Lisa even responded promptly when I asked to order a paper view event through them. The groom wanted it and he got it. I came off looking like a superstar. Awesome Weekend!  

We had an awesome bachelor party weekend for my brother at the Fat Rabbit! The owners were super helpful from the start, answering any questions I had and making sure we would have everything we would need for the weekend. We started with some snowboarding at Jack Frost - which was only a short drive away; then basically spent the whole weekend at the cabin - we had originally had plans to go out a little more while up there but we ended up staying more at the cabin playing pool, hanging out, and enjoying a beer or two. We all had an awesome time and would definitely recommend staying at the Fat Rabbit!

 This was our third time staying at the Fat Rabbit, and it was an amazing experience every time! As a group of 12, the cabin had plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably. Beautiful Christmas!

My family and our friends spent a beautiful relaxing Christmas at the Fat Rabbit. The accommodations were perfect for the 11 of us. We ate drank and were merry around the roaring fire. Awesome location!

Our stay at the Fat Rabbit cabin was one we will never forget! I was out in charge of planning my best friend’s bachelor party and once I found Pocono Log Cabin I knew my search was over. The place was affordable, has a great look, awesome location near the river and lots of other outdoor activities and could accommodate a large group. To me, the best part of the renting experience was the communication with the owners. They were only a text / call away for any questions or concerns which made the whole experience very streamline and relaxed.

Just finished up my second stay at the Fat Rabbit and it’s great place to have a bachelor party or just get some friends together for a long weekend! Despite the cold rain and having to cancel a golf outing, the house is more than big enough to entertain everyone. Everything from cornhole to hot tub or pig roast, just a great place to get together with some friends! Would definitely recommend to anyone considering a place to stay in the Poconos.

 Outstanding Cabin!

The Fat Rabbit is an excellent place to get away for a bachelor party. The cabin was way bigger than I expected, and it’s out in the middle of the woods with a nice view of the river. Highly recommend the comedian they provide to “roast” your friends, the guy will have you dying with laughter. Nice jacuzzi right outside in the front too! The Pig Roast was delicious also, freshly smoked. If your looking to get away with the boys for a bachelor party, this is “THE PLACE”. You can basically do whatever you want, when you want. My large family and I stayed in one of the properties of Poconos Log Cabin Rentals, and we could not have been more pleased.  The communication among the owners was clear and efficient, as we had the ability to plan various activities, such as skiing/snowboarding and our very first pig roast!  In addition, the accommodations at the rental were all you could want in a getaway.  The multiple rooms allowed it to be spacious, warm, and entertaining, especially with the fireplaces and game amenities.  To top it off, however, was the sense of isolation and the nearby river.  The serenity and peace which it brought listening out on the back deck was just everything.  It was a combination of all the above which fulfilled many desires and made a memorable weekend!

5-year Anniversary weekend - Loved it!

My wife and I booked an impromptu weekend getaway for our 5-year anniversary and we loved it! Lance & Lisa were amazing hosts and very helpful with local suggestions. The cabin itself was  exactly what we wanted.  All in all, the property was is very good shape and it was easy to relax and feel at home. Thank you for helping to make a great anniversary weekend!

We didn't want to leave! 

We had a great stay! The cabin was great, with a great location. Communication with the the property managers was easy and helpful. We really enjoyed our time at the cabin, our kids didn't want to leave. 

We have already talked about going back with a few other members of our family.

Beautiful!

Everything you need to connect with your kids and just enjoy their company.  Beautiful trail just steps away from back door to hike and enjoy nature.   Lots of time spent in the hot tub and around the fire pit!   Lance & Lisa were very helpful with directions and activities.

Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value     

I know it’s meant for an entire group of people but I was curious as to what it would be like renting an entire cabin out for just me and my lady. It was far cooler than expected! Though I would still suggest going with a group. We rented out the Fat Rabbit and it was spectacular! The game room downstairs had pool and foosball plus a tv to throw any video games you might have with you on. There’s a hot tubs we spent plenty of time in (I loved using it during the cold mornings in particular). There’s a walking trail directly behind the cabin we went on each morning that led to some pretty cool sights too. I personally loved starting up the campfire each night to roast up some stuff and just enjoy being surrounded by nature. All n all, great experience, will definitely go back!

Great Weekend!

Great weekend gateway with friends at this beautiful cabin. Located next to some great golf courses. Host was awesome and gave information and recommendations for anything we needed. Cabin is amazing.

Awesome!

We stayed at Fat Rabbit for my bachelor party weekend over Labor Day weekend. Very few of us had ever stayed in the Pocono region before, but Lance and Lisa were awesome about recommending ideas and helping to plan. We played paintball and golf during the weekend, receiving great discounts at both. The cabin was excellent, had everything we could have wanted and more. Plenty of space inside, enough to sleep 13 comfortably, and the two levels of decks made hanging out that much better. The location of the cabin was handy to many things around the area. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to host their bachelor party in the Poconos!

Massive Decks!

 A group of 15 of us came up to stay in the Fat Rabbit for 3 nights for a bachelor party weekend. It is a perfect location for a Poconos bachelor party as it is close to everything you typically do at a bachelor party. Lance and Lisa were very easy and helpful to work with. They set everything up you may want to do for you, which is nice when you have a busy schedule. We had plenty of room inside for all of us and there are two massive decks that we spent most of our time around the cabin at. Mountain Laurel Golf Course is basically right across the river which was super convenient for getting out on the course. I would recommend for bachelor party weekends!

Definitely Recommend the Cabin!

 The property was just as described. Our group had 8 adults and 6 kids (ages 3-16).   We had plenty of room in the cabin. There was a small creek with a 5’- 6’ high waterfall which we could jump from into a swimming hole. It was about 1/4-1/2 mile walk from the cabin. There were a couple of great state parks within a 15-20 minute drive from the cabin. The owners were extremely friendly, helpful and very responsive. I would definitely recommend this cabin or their other cabins nearby!

This cabin was perfect for our bachelor party. We stayed in the Fat Rabbit and Lance was very responsive and helped with any questions I had. The cabin was amazing and had so many accessories already available For every day use at the home. I would absolutely stay there again!

Quality, Responsiveness

We stayed at the Fat Rabbit cabin for a bachelor party weekend and we had a great time. The cabin was great for a larger group and had plenty of indoor and outdoor space to hang out with the group. A very large deck overlooks the river and the recreation room is a good size. Both areas made it enjoyable for the group as we had plenty of room to play lawn games and indoor games.

Due to the pandemic outbreak in 2020 we booked this trip very last minute. Lance and Lisa are great to work with and helped us set up the trip and helped with all of the details. I was most happy with how quickly they responded to my emails to help me plan the weekend.
I would certainly recommend Pocono Log Cabin rentals for both bigger events and just quiet weekends away. They make the process very easy and the cabins are great!

 Really Great!

Lance and Lisa are really great. We visited their new cabin Valhalla and they were very welcoming to the family and me. The area is great and there is so much to do nearby. Hickory Run State Park is an exit away and has some great trails and great scenery. We visited Boulder Field, Sand Spring Lake and Hawks Falls. Everyone had a great time. We had some serious camp fires and great times in the cabin. The only regret was not booking the whole week.

Family Getaway 

Our family and another family originally had a trip planned to Niagra Falls during these dates, however, Covid forced us to change our plans at the last minute. After scowering the Internet for alternative plans, we fortunately stumbled upon the Fat Rabbit and it stood out among all other cabins. Lisa and Lance were wonderful to work with and were extremely accommodating. Both families were very excited to go and neither were disappointed. We had a very relaxing and stress free vacation. The cabin was exactly how they described and they even checked in at the beginning to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved the huge deck and the hot tub was very delightful. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice getaway.

 Comfortable & Very Clean

We rented the Fat Rabbit for a Bachelor party. The cabin slept 11 of us comfortably and everything was very clean. Lisa and Lance helps us with all of our needs. We had booked the Bourbon and Cigar tasting and Pig Roast.  Both are well worth it they were both amazing. This place is a very short walk down to the river. So many areas to hang out perfect for the party we had. Will definitely be looking to rent again in the future

So Great!

The cabin is great we had a group of 10 and everyone could sleep comfortably. Between the large deck, pool table in the basement and fire pit there were many places we could all hang together. There is also a really cool trail directly behind cabin. We went right after the reopen from COVID and even through all of the uncertainty Lisa and Lance worked with us to make our trip work for us. Cuddos to them for their understanding.

Beautiful secluded cabin!

 Spent 3 wonderful days/nights at Fat Rabbit Log Cabin with my husband. Absolutely loved it! This secluded cabin is private, beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable. So peaceful and relaxing to sit on the covered deck and listen to the river running.  Lance & Lisa are a pleasure to work with. So accommodating and courteous. Will definitely be planning more visits to some of the other beautiful cabins they have soon. 5-star rating!

Wonderful Weekend

 My boyfriend and I stayed at Fat Rabbit and absolutely LOVED it.  Lance &  Lisa was so easy to work with throughout the entire process from booking to departure, promptly answering any questions we had. The cabin is gorgeous!!

This Is The Spot!!!! I Will Be A Repeat Renter 

We stayed at the Fat Rabbit on 2/22/20-2/24/20. Lance & Lisa are amazing. They accommodated us knowing we were having a bachelor party. After speaking with them i was at ease. They were ready to help with every step and help us plan out the weekend. Amazing customer service A+++++. Now the cabin... This cabin was beautiful, absolutely gorgeous. We arrived late and the hot tube was on waiting for our arrival. The sound of the river flowing while sitting on the terrace just puts your mind at ease. All the activities we wanted to do were within a short drive. We went to sunset hill shooting range and had a blast Trap shooting. We rented atvs and had a great time. We went to at the antique shop next to the shooting range.We had a bbq every night. Lance and Lisa thank you for hosting us and we will definitely be back next Poconos trip.

Family Holiday

I took a extended weekend vacation with family to the Poconos. The cabin was wonderful. Close to the attractions the Poconos offers. Behind the cabin is a river which we were able to get down to and take some amazing pictures. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone planning on staying in the Poconos area.

40th Bday Get Together

I wanted to have a quick getaway for my wife's 40th bday. I invited 4 other couples to Fat Rabbit and we had an unbelievable time. From the fire pits, to the hot tub to the cozy living quarters our weekend was perfect. We hit Jack Frost on Saturday morning for some snow tubing, ate a delicious catered meal that was fully coordinated by Lance and Lisa after we selected our menu items and had a relaxing 2 day stay. Lance and Lisa were tremendous throughout the entire process. From recommendations to best places to go, their input was awesome. They were super easy to work with and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at their house. Our group of 10 has not spent much time in the Poconos but I can tell you we are all looking for dates to plan our next visit to Fat Rabbit. If you are looking for a place to rent, look no further than Fat Rabbit. I promise you will love it

Perfect family Christmas

 I have spent a Christmas time with my family in a beautiful cabin (Rabbit) with the fireplace like I dream . The kid had fun and the place is as it appears in the photos and not have neighbor near , and have a spacious rooms . 100% recommended. Thanks

if you you want to have the best weekend in the best cabins ever! This past weekend we stayed in Fat Rabbit and it was amazing. It was right above the river (which we hiked down to explore it) and so relaxing listening to it. The deck outside was the best part because it was covered and we were able to sit out on it and play games while it rained. The basement was full of games to play and big enough for all of us to sit together comfortably. The hot tub was clean and we used it every night we were there! This is our second booking with Lisa and Lance, and we are already talking about another trip for the summer! They make the process so easy and enjoyable I will never rent a cabin from anyone else again! Highly recommend them and all their cabins for the reason that they genuinely want to see your group have a good time! Can't want to come back!!

 Family Thanksgiving

Was looking for a log cabin for our family to all meet to spend Thanksgiving together, and this was a great find. It was just the right size for the 12 of us. Everyone enjoyed it. It had that Holiday feel! Great area to hike and ATV. It was a great place for the holiday!

What a Great Find!
We booked the Fat Rabbit cabin on a little bit of short notice and really got lucky with a great find!  The owners were very helpful and accommodating.  The house was excellent and has a lot of open space inside including a game room style basement.  We had 9 guests staying and everyone had a bed.  Great location right along the river, and excellent outdoor living areas to enjoy your surroundings!  100% would recommend.

 40th Birthday Getaway

Fat Rabbit! Private! Picturesque! Pleasurable! 

Hats off to Lance & Lisa and their Fat Rabbit Cabin! It delivered a fantastic birthday weekend, as promised. Their effort was property management at its finest. From great info emails--to an easy rental process-- to next-level concierge service, we planned the perfect birthday getaway with 10 of my good friends. All these reviews are not fake. This cabin really is what they say, and  Lance & Lisa’s help is what they say.  Great to work with, good communication, and accommodating every step of the way. Fat Rabbit had enough space for 11 grown men to sleep comfortably and hang out in different areas of the house watching football, playing pool, poker, and using the kitchen non-stop. (FYI-The catering service Lisa used was extremely useful if you don't want to cook.) The outside areas are just as sweet. We had enough firewood delivered by George to keep a fire going for 4 days straight. The hot tub was in great shape and was the perfect remedy for a chilly morning. My group will be back for sure. I highly recommend!
